The 2023 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards are in the books! Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks joined forces to co-host the star-studded show that saw rising singer and Yellowstone star Lainey Wilson collect four win out of six nominations.

The night was filled with rockin' performances, including a live performance from Dolly's upcoming rock album, a tribute to stars lost, a cameo from Willie Nelson and a live goat on stage.

Hollywood could learn a thing or two from tonight's livestream. The tight 2 hour, 11 min. show moved along at a nice pace without feeling rushed. Add in the heartfelt speeches and solid performances and we couldn't ask for a more enjoyable awards show.

Who hosted the 2023 ACM Awards?

Country music greats Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks co-hosted this year's festivities.

ACM CEO and ACM Awards executive producer Damon Whiteside explained, "We couldn’t be more excited to bring this legendary pair together for the first time ever as Country Music’s Party of the Year heads to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. From exclusive superstar performances to unexpected collaborations to the industry’s most exciting emerging talent, fans are in for an unforgettable night that can only be seen on the ACM Awards stage!"

Parton last hosted the awards in 2000, and this is the first year Brooks has ever hosted. Brooks told Billboard, "All I hope that we do as a pair is represent [country music] well. I mean, you’ve got your foundation and what you’re looking for here,” he says, gesturing to Parton seated beside him. “You’ve got talent and class. Let’s represent country music the best that we can."

Parton also told the outlet that she and Brooks are bound to be a good team for this year's show and explained, "We are excited about this because we’ve always wanted to do something together. We’ve always admired each other musically and as people and how we handle our business. So this is a great thrill for me. I think the fans are going to enjoy seeing us together, ‘cause Lord knows he’s got fans and I got a few."
