How to Achieve Beanie Feldstein's Stunning Oscar's Hair Style

Inspired by 1950s glam.

Beanie Feldstein is quickly becoming a red carpet queen. Throughout this award season, she's shown up time and time again ready to strike a post and slay the carpet, and last night on the Oscars 2020 red carpet was no exception.

Beanie wore a custom white Miu Miu dress with black floral print embellishments. It was glamour, drama and beauty, all wrapped into one. Of course, her hairstyle was on point as well. Hairstylist Bobby Eliot helped Beanie achieve her perfect look and shared the details of the evening with Teen Vogue.

"Beanie is the loveliest and so much fun to get ready with," Bobby tells Teen Vogue. When it came for inspiration for her hair, Bobby of course based it off Beanie's Miu Miu gown. "The inspiration for Beanie’s look was 1950s glamour. The silhouette of her dress has a vintage feel and so we wanted to compliment that."

Once they decided on the style, it was time to get to work. Bobby used a classic pincurl set to achieve Beanie's waves for the evening.

"We used Suave Professionals Firm Control Boosting Mousse for added hold and to prep the hair," he explains. "When the hair was set and cooled, we brushed out the hair and sculpted the wave."

And that was it! Who knew a look that stunning could be so simple to master? If you're looking to recreate Beanie's hairstyle from the Oscars at home, Bobby recommends this: "Create a deep side part, curl your hair and use a clip to told the curls in place, let them cool and brush, brush brush!"

BRB, about to go try and attempt to be stunning like Beanie!
