We're all about giving credit where it's due, and so today, a heartfelt thank you goes out to one Ms. Jessica Alba. The actress and Honest Company founder not only developed a bubble bath formula that goes above and beyond, but according to Amazon shoppers, the brand's moisturizer is excellent for making skin look like its best-ever self—and younger in the process.

Given the plethora of great drugstore skincare options available today, that's stiff praise. The Honest Company might not have as long of a legacy as CeraVe or Cetaphil, but since launching in 2011, the brand has steadily grown to offer a wide range of clean formulas at drugstore prices. Affordable skincare that's free of parabens, silicones, petrolatum, dyes, and synthetic fragrances is still a rarity, which might be why the brand's Hydrogel Cream has scored just under 3,000 five-star ratings on Amazon.

"Makes my skin look younger and hydrated. I am a skincare fanatic, and this product is one of my absolute favorites," wrote a reviewer. "I am all about safer-for-you ingredients these days, and the beautiful blend of ingredients in this product creates a silky, fluffy and rich texture. It absorbs perfectly—feels like my skin is drinking it up instead of [the cream] leaving greasiness. I have been using it on my face and neck for several months…and am constantly told I am glowing and look rested (and I can assure you I am not rested ;))."

Has an emoji ever expressed so much? Extremely relatable. As the fan highlighted, the moisturizer's texture feels like whipped silk thanks to a mix of hydrating squalane, two types of hyaluronic acid, and sodium PCA. Jojoba oil and vitamin E add two more dryness-vanquishing angles, and apple fruit extract brings in free radical-repelling antioxidants.

"I have never found anything that truly hydrates my skin like this cream," wrote another commenter, adding that it outperforms even pricey formulas from Chanel. "It gives me hydration and a glow that lasts all day and all night, but doesn't break my skin out. It even fills in some of my fine lines and plumps them."

More shoppers in their early 40s emphasized how it "definitely" smoothes out fine lines and leaves their skin with a dewy, wrinkle-diffusing finish. "This stuff is amazing! I have dry skin with some fine lines, [and] after a month of using this every night, my skin is hydrated and honestly looks younger," added a last user. "My skin is so smooth, and I have had no issues with it clogging my pores."

The cream clocks in at $20, and going by the above praise, it's well worth the money. Try it for yourself.
