Halloween means a few things for us. It’s finally acceptable to munch on candy corn throughout the day (haters to the left, that stuff tastes like pure sugary heaven), we’re going to watch Hocus Pocus like 13 times a week, and we’re going to decorate every square inch of our house with the spookiest stuff around. But according to Pinterest’s 2019 Pinfrights Report, this year you might want to leave the black and orange decor in storage. This year’s Halloween trends are a lot more colorful — and unique — than you might think.

According to the pros at Pinterest, instead of orange and black, searches for “pink Halloween decorations” are up 221 percent this year. And we’re not mincing words: We love this idea. After all, October weather can be pretty dark and gloomy in plenty of different parts of the country, so why not try to keep things light and bright in your house at least?
