Academy of Country Music Awards Returns to Prime Video in 2024: How to Watch the Show
The Academy of Country Music Awards will return on Prime Video in May 2024.
Revealed Thursday, the awards show, which honors legendary singers and songwriters across the country music genre, will be held at the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team in Frisco, Texas.

The news is part of the continued partnership between the ACM, Dick Clark Productions and Prime Video, which will continue for the next two years into the 60th anniversary ACM Awards in 2025.
The 2023 ACM Honors tapped legendary artists Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks as hosts and featured Chris Stapleton receiving the ACM’s highest honor of ACM Entertainer of the Year. Streamed live on Prime Video, the 58th awards show shattered records, with 7.7 million viewers tuning in, marking it as one of the most-watched awards shows of 2023.
“Thanks to the biggest host pairing of all time, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, the comprehensive, cross-platform program with our partners at Prime Video and Amazon Music, and the dedicated fans in Texas and around the world, the May 2023 show was a groundbreaking success and illustrates that our pioneering and innovative move to streaming was absolutely the right one at the right time,” Damon Whiteside, the Academy of Country Music’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.
“We’re eager to see everyone back in Texas once again at the home of the Dallas Cowboys next May for another groundbreaking ACM Awards show,” he added.
With more news about performers, nominees and attendees for the May 2024 ACM Awards coming at a later date, the 2023 ACM Awards is still available to stream on-demand with Prime Video, Amazon Freevee and an Amazon Music account. Prime Video currently offers a 30-day free trial.
