Abby Lee Miller Is Furious That 'Dance Moms' Producers Didn't Air Liliana's Winning Solo
Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is known for losing her temper on air, whether it's at the dancers, their moms, or even competing studios. But this time Miller is airing her frustrations on Instagram, and it's with the Lifetime producers.
The notorious dance teacher took to social media yesterday to explain that, during this week's episode of the drama-packed reality show, the producers chose not to air one very important dance. According to her post, Miller had choreographed a winning solo for dancer Lilliana Ketchman — in addition to the high-scoring Bob Fosse-inspired group dance — which was left out of the show.
"When we all work so hard on a Spectacular routine that wins the whole damn competition & they don’t air it!!! Grrrrrrrr! They’d rather give the air time to some demented psycho!" Miller wrote on Instagram, referencing the airtime given to the drama between her team's mothers and their rival, Studio 19.

The photos posted by Miller show Lilliana in a black spider web-inspired costume, as well as one of her collecting an award for the dance.
Lilliana responded to Miller's post, saying "This was my favorite routine EVER...(my favorite of all the routines that I got to use my arms that is)!!! Seriously so upset! Thank you and thank you @giannamartelloMaybe I will compete this somewhere else!!! 😘😍😘😍"
One commenter, identifying himself as Lilliana's grandfather, also responded to the post, and took a dig at the show's lower than usual ratings, writing "Tell the producers that Lil's Grandpa Mike IS NOT HAPPY !!! Believe or not a lot of viewers want to see good dancing and like to root for the girls to do well . Less drama more dancing and you will see improved ratings . You DO NOT have the right combination between the two !!!"
Fans of the show appear to agree, saying that it was unfair to skip over Lilly's hard-earned win in favor of drama with other studios.
"UGHHHHHH!!! Studio 19 stole Lilly’s flipping fire 🔥" one commenter wrote.
"These producers are the worse! I do NOT watch this show for the mom nonsense. They are the WORST part of this show! And all the real fans agree! I watch the show for Abby’s incredible choreography and her dancers. Period! What can we do to demand the real substance of this show?!?!" another said.
Thankfully leaked video from the competition showing Lilliana's solo, entitled "Black Widow," has been put up online, so fans of the show won't have to miss out for too much longer.
Dance Moms, however, is no stranger to cutting out dances for the sake of time. In past seasons, it wasn't uncommon to see some of the team's dancers walking around in the background wearing costumes that didn't appear to be for any of the dances that — as far as we knew — were being competed that week. As it turns out, these were usually for dances that didn't make their way into that episode's story line. Luckily for us, the majority of these routines, which ranged from solos to group numbers, also end up online one way or another.
