Aaron Rodgers Says He’s Engaged Amid Shailene Woodley Dating Rumors

Rumor has it that Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are an item. It came as a surprise, but that’s just the way they intended it because they like “things private and low-key,” E! News reports. Turns out, the dating rumor was just the beginning because fans are, like, 99.9 percent sure they’re engaged. Does the public have proof? No! But what it does have is Aaron admitting that he’s engaged.
“2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season,” he said during a speech after accepting the 2020 AP Most Valuable Player Award. He proceeded to thank his team, the Green Bay Packers, and his fiancée (!!!).

“I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career,” he continued. “So I’d like to thank, first and foremost, my teammates for their support, their inspiration, protection, incredible play on the field…off the field, I’ve got a great group of people that support me, so I’d like to thank my team.”
Aaron didn’t name Shailene, but he may as well have. It sounds like we’ll just have to wait until the wedding for official confirmation.
Before Shailene, Aaron dated race car driver Danica Patrick for two years before they split last July. An insider tells E! News that while he and Shailene are happy together, they still make time for their respective careers in football and acting.
“They have seen each other and been in touch,” the source says. “They continue to talk and see each other when they can. They are both focused on their careers but they also make time for each other.”
