Aaron Gwin has been making some serious money moves in the mountain bike world in the last six months. First was his acquisition of Windrock Bike Park in Oliver Springs, Tennessee just outside of Knoxville. Then came his partnership/buy-in to Crestline Bikes as well as the formation of his own World Cup race team.

Today, though, we are focusing on the former as Aaron takes us on a quick walkthrough of what he's been up to since taking the reigns of Windrock.

When I sat down with Aaron shortly after he purchased Windrock, he was very clear that there were going to be some major changes coming to the park and it looks like he wasted no time getting started on those.

This new home base/full service bike shop/retail space provides a lot more than most parks are able to offer and given who's captaining the ship these days, we should never have expected anything less.

Windrock was always a sleeper destination but now they have really stepped up their game. This park is going to be the precedent for mountain bike specific parks from here on out.
