9 TV Shows and Movies to Watch as February Kicks Off

From the Rent live musical to the Screen Actors Guild Awards, here's what to bookmark this week.

Unfortunately, there aren't many new TV shows and movies premiering this week. Most of the midseason returns have already happened, and it will be a minute before that rush of new spring programming comes in. But in the meantime there are a few new offerings from Netflix, plus awards season glamour and some oldies but goodies leaving your streaming queues very soon. If you find yourself with some downtime this week, consider watching any (or all) of these shows and films.
