Grey's Anatomy returned to television Thursday with a two-hour season premiere and it quickly set into motion what show creators have dubbed "The Season Of Love." It's an appropriate theme given that Grey's left viewers four months ago with three weddings, a steamy kiss between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Deluca (Giacomo Gianniotti), and a pregnant Teddy (Kim Raver). But season 15 quickly laid to rest what you thought was a bedroom sesh between Meredith and Deluca-it was just a dream. Here are some more important moments you might have missed during the premiere.

1. Miranda Bailey is making some lifestyle changes.

In case you forgot, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) suffered a heart attack last season that highlighted an important aspect of female heart health (heart attack symptoms in women can more easily go unnoticed than those in men). The episode opened with Bailey glancing at her Fitbit while marching in place and ordering a fresh pineapple juice, so it's safe to assume she's taking steps to get healthy. Plus, she's on the hunt for an interim chief of surgery for what Teddy called "a stress sabbatical."

2. Teddy is suffering from a pretty serious condition.

Teddy is making a quick exit from the hospital-because yikes, Owen (Kevin McKidd) might be back together with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone)-when she feels a sharp pain in her calf. The diagnosis is a blood clot and it's worth noting that while deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can occur as a result of being a smoker or flying for a long period of time, it is five to 10 times more likely in pregnant women, according to one 2015 study. In addition to pain, symptoms include swelling in one arm or leg, chest pain, and/or coughing up blood.

3. Everyone is hungover.

Three weddings last season makes for a while lot of hangovers. Jackson (Jesse Williams), Maggie (Kelly McCreary), and Deluca all wake up looking worse for the wear, but Jackson suggests they walk it off on their way to work. (He's onto something-even a short sweat session can get your circulation going and help the detoxification process move along.)

4. The docs get a lesson in...butt stuff.

When a man rolls into the ER clutching his stomach, he tells docs he's just having everyday gastrointestinal issues. But when an x-ray reveals that something is lodged inside the guy's, um, bum, Carina (Stefania Spampinato)-remember, she's researching the female orgasm- is not surprised. She quickly points out that the pleasure zone lies just inside the anal cavity. She aptly notes, "Why do you think we're always pulling stuff out of men's butts?"

5. Dr. Nico Kim winks at Dr. Levi Schmitt during surgery.

It's been a long time coming, but Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital finally has its first gay male surgeon, Dr. Nico Kim (Alex Landi). During surgery, he makes eye contact with Levi (Jake Borelli) and gives him a "hey there" wink and later he buys him a drink, so we'll have to see what (if anything) unfolds there.

6. Everyone thinks Meredith is married to her work.

Between all of the steamy dreams (involving multiple men) and a patient who's a matchmaker, Meredith is being bombarded by the topic of her love life. But despite the season 15 romance theme, it seems Meredith will be the one character getting nada in the love department this season. She even turns down the self-dubbed "Ortho God"-new doctor Atticus Lincoln a.k.a. "Link" (Chris Carmack)-for an after-dinner drink.

7. Meredith's intern might have a crush on her.

When Taryn (Jaicy Elliot) gives Meredith a second look as she walks out of the room, matchmaker Cece (Caroline Clay) steps in again-this time to offer a bit of personal advice she earned from "chasing straight girls" for years. "Sit down-let me save you from a whole life of misery," Cede says to Taryn.

8. Amelia talks about recovery. Richard does, too.

Grey's docs are no stranger to personal struggles and for Amelia and Richard that means drug addiction and alcoholism, respectively. Both are in recovery, but Amelia stresses to Owen that her recovery efforts are constant, while Bailey urges Richard to find another AA sponsor. (Remember his sponsor Olive Warner died as a result of liver failure in season 14?)

9. Jackson might still be struggling with PTSD.

The episode opens with a cheery, positive-thinking Jackson who seems to be seeking an optimistic outlook for erry-thang. But when he and Maggie escape death (thanks to Deluca's quick thinking) and a woman is hit by a bike, he becomes determined to save her. She doesn't make it and it sends Jackson into a tailspin of "why her and not me?" and he loses it in the operating room. Maggie suggests that maybe he is still dealing with PTSD related to the mass shooting and loss of his infant son Sam in season 11.
