These 9 Swimsuits Under $35 All Feature 1 Must-Have Flattering Detail

A few weeks ago I told myself I could spend up to $60 on a new bathing suit, which didn’t seem unreasonable to me: the style does not feature a lot of (nor expensive) material. To my surprise though, it proved to be something of a challenge. Fortunately, there is still one place I can rely on for affordable swimwear: Amazon.

At the retailer, you can find countless swim styles (more than 50,000, to be exact) that don’t break the bank, so I gave myself a new challenge: Finding a one-piece swimsuit that featured the flattering detail Gayle King just rocked for $35 or under. There’s a lot to love about this swimsuit: The deep V-neck that ends in a criss-crossed knot, the sturdy straps, and of course the fact that it’s on sale for just $20. Fans also mention that it offers “great support for larger chests,” which is in part thanks to the padding and adjustable straps. “The girls stay where they should even when jumping,” said another customer. In addition to that hold, the suit also lifts, they wrote, explaining that they feel covered but still sexy.

Charmo V-Neck One-Piece Swimsuit

From the front, Charmo’s one-piece swimsuit is seemingly simple, with a V-neck and slight ruching across the torso. The back, however, is the opposite, thanks to a low-cut, strappy design. One person wrote that the “sexy detail…elevates” the style, making it more interesting than “your run-of-the-mill one-pieces.” Another shopper was amazed that, despite it being a “more revealing” style, the swimsuit “kept everything in place and fit like a glove;” they deemed the one-piece “amazingly flattering.”

Tempt Me One-Shoulder One-Piece Swimsuit

If you gravitate towards more unique styles, consider this swimsuit from Tempt Me that has just a single shoulder strap, ruffled neckline, and 20 color options. Fans of the style say that they love how it offers a more “fun” look while still being “very figure flattering.” Plus, shoppers reported that they’ve had “no issues with it staying in place,” despite the single strap, with one person even saying that they don’t ever have to adjust it. “I put it on and don’t think about it,” they wrote. In my books, that’s some of the highest praise a swimsuit can get.
