As Nimue encounters a young Arthur (Devon Terrell) on her quest to find a powerful and ancient sword, she discovers that she needs the wizardly Merlin’s (Gustaf Skarsgård) help to fight the terrifying Red Paladins, religious fanatics who are destroying the kingdom.

8. Elves (2021)
In the hopes of reuniting over Christmas, a family of four travels to a remote island in the Danish archipelago, only to find it controlled by members of a strongly religious community living in the woods and revealed to be elves.
When the curious teen daughter in the family finds and brings home a baby elf, she inadvertently disrupts the balance and throws everyone on the island into a life-or-death battle.

7. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019)
This fantasy series is a prequel to the classic '80s Jim Henson film The Dark Crystal. Henson may no longer be with us, but the puppetry of the prequel show stunningly captures the spirit of the original story, as the elf-like Gelflings overcome their tribal differences in order to escape from the oppressive rule of the evil and reptilian Skeksis.

6. Charmed (2018 — 2022)
Charmed updates the cult-favorite '90s fantasy series about three sisters who just so happen to be witches.
