Much to fans’ delight, 9-1-1 star Jennifer Love Hewitt is back on social media.

On October 17, Jennifer announced that she would be taking a break from social media following the birth of her third child, a son named Aidan James. Her reasoning was that, in addition to needing more free time to focus on her own self-care, Instagram had a tendency of making her feel like she wasn’t “enough.”

“Like I’m not enough. Doing enough. Getting my body back fast enough. Giving enough. All of it,” Jennifer wrote in her Instagram Stories back on the day of her announcement.

Now, nearly two weeks later, it seems as though the break helped, and Jennifer is back to posting on her grid and steadily within her Instagram Stories. While she’s kept her grid lighthearted with a single post about “snacking pants” (which thousands of fans have found both amusing and relatable), her Stories remain a place of vulnerability, in which she’s reposted a series of thought-provoking quotes from the Moon Omens Instagram page. Of course, in true Jennifer fashion, she’s trickled in some humor, seasonal snippets, and pop culture, too, with a series of funny TikToks, tie-dye Halloween sweaters, Hocus Pocus references, and even a memorial post for Friends actor James Michael Tyler following his death.

Witnessing Jennifer’s return, fans can’t help but revel in her content. “So glad you're back! Love you momma,” one fan exclaimed. “I love your Halloween shirt in your stories,” another fan commented on her most recent post. “Hoping Maddie comes back to the new season of @911onfox soon,” another fan wrote, referencing Jennifer’s character on the Fox drama show.

For reference, 9-1-1 returns on Monday, November 1 after a two-week hiatus. In the last episode, Buck (played by Oliver Stark) gets a call from Maddie (though, she wasn’t actually present in the show). The last episode where we heard from Maddie was back on October 4th, when Maddie dropped her and Chimney (Kenneth Choi)’s baby off at the fire station and left Chimney a video message asking him to take care of their baby while she sorted out her own problems.

While these series of events have left a lot up for debate, above all, they’ve given Jennifer a chance to step back from the show for some much-deserved time off. Only time will tell when she’s set to return ... though, given her voicemail in the last episode, it might be sooner than we think.
