Fans of 9-1-1: Lone Star, you may want to prepare yourselves for this one. While we're still months away from season 4 making its way back to our TV screens, it doesn't mean the show isn't happy to drop sneak peeks here and there. In fact, the 9-1-1 spinoff series just gave fans a potential sneak peek of what's to come via a new photo of Rob Lowe shared on social media.

In mid-August, the show's official Instagram shared a behind-the-scenes picture of the actor playing Captain Owen Strand. Wearing his character's uniform, 9-1-1: Lone Star fans caught a glimpse of him sitting with onscreen son Ronen Rubinstein in front of a massive airplane.

"Did someone ask for a never before seen #911LoneStar photo? 😏," the show captioned the snap on August 12.

The father and son team look like they're ready for just about any emergency ... or maybe just a quick photo op. But as soon as folks picked up on this (it probably helped that Ronen shared his own version of the pic to his account), they immediately voiced how excited they were to get a new moment from the duo.

"These Strand guys make me fall in love with them even more 🥰❤️," wrote one fan in the comments section. "Can we say 'The Strand Men'..❤️," another noted. "I can't waiting for 4😭😭😭😭😭😭," one follower asked.

Speaking of season 4, many are impatiently waiting for the Austin-based drama to make its triumphant return. Sadly, we'll have to wait a little while longer, because 9-1-1: Lone Star premieres in the winter versus the fall like the original 9-1-1 does every year.

But this leads us to wonder what is up with Owen Strand and the firefighters of Texas Firehouse 126. Does this mean we'll see some above-the-ground action? What exactly does the airplane setup mean?

In the meantime, why not get a taste for 9-1-1: Lone Star by watching its TV predecessor, 9-1-1? Season 6 will premiere on September 19 at 8 p.m. ET, giving us time to catch up with the members of the L.A. Fire Department and 9-1-1 call center real soon.
