Over the years, Jennifer Love Hewitt continuously stuns fans with her incredible portrayal of Maddie on 9-1-1. But the actress recently revealed a personal update over on Instagram, and it was exciting news no one was expecting to hear from her.

In a new post uploaded to her social media account, she showed off the subtle yet permanent way she honored her daughter Autumn and sons Atticus and Aidan. Jennifer collaborated with tattoo artist Victoria Do to ink herself with three intricately designed butterflies, each one representing her children (whom she shares with husband Brian Hallisay). At the same time, she also decided to decorate her hands with simple finger tattoos that could be easily covered for any work commitment.

"Butterflies for her kids and some finger adornments for the sweetest @jenniferlovehewitt 🦋☀️🌿," Victoria captioned the post on April 11, along side-by-side photos of the drawings the actress chose to adorn her body with.

When 9-1-1 fans realized that Jennifer made an everlasting statement for her loved ones with tattoos, many immediately started praising her for it.

"Wow that's so beautiful ❤️😍 I love it," one person wrote in the Instagram comments section. "Right on lady! I myself just got a couple finger tats done. ❤️🔥," another added. "I looooooved these!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ so cute 😍," a different follower replied.

While Jennifer doesn't often post proper pictures of her kids on social media, this isn't the only time she's artfully mentioned them online. Apart from celebrating special milestones in their lives like birthdays, the Party of Five alum also enjoys marking occasions regardless of the size, including Valentine's Day and back-to-school season.

What's more, Jennifer has previously spoken about how her family has helped her become a better actress.

“I think before becoming a parent, love was something that sounded beautiful and was out there and portrayed in movies and felt at certain times when I met my husband," Jennifer said to Us Magazine in 2019.

She continued: "Then we very quickly started having kids, and the love that I feel for the person that allowed me to have that dream in having those children and the love that you have for your children, it opens you up in a way that makes you more vulnerable than you could ever possibly imagine.”
