Just days ago, Martha Stewart broke the internet (and broke records) by posing for the 2023 Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover at 81. Fans are in awe of the snaps (which resemble her thirst trap snap from summers gone-by). Fans have been buzzing about her appearance (some claiming she’s had plastic surgery) and wanting to know about her beauty routine. Luckily, we have the details on how Stewart achieved her glowing skin. She uses L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer.

Stewart’s makeup artist, Daisy Toye, revealed to People that Stewart “wanted to look really tan,” for the shoot. “She wants to look like herself. She wants to look glamorous, she wants to look pretty,” Toye recalled telling the photographer.

To achieve the look, Toye used the L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion, a hydrating and illuminating tinted face and body lotion. “I use it every day on her. I go through a tube every week,” Toye explained in the interview. “It’s how she gets that dewy look, like she just got a facial. I’m obsessed with it. ”

The multitasking, glow-inducing product from L’Oreal is available in four shades and is formulated with glycerin and shea butter to nourish skin while providing a luminous finish. The powerhouse formula can be used alone, under makeup, or on the face and body as a highlighter or bronzer.

It’s also earned an overall 4.5 out of five stars on Amazon, with thousands of glowing (pun intended) reviews. “I totally love this item. It makes my skin have a healthy, vibrant glow to it,” wrote one reviewer. “It’s lightweight, hydrating, and lasts all day,” another reviewer raved. “It’s the perfect natural-looking glow all year round! I always get compliments on how hydrated my skin looks!”

Fans went wild over Stewart’s look when she revealed the Sports Illustrated cover on Instagram. “Champion for all women!!! Glowing. 👏,” one fan wrote. “What fountain of youth are you visiting?” another asked, while one fan commented “For real? Totally iconic.”

While Toye’s go-to beauty product for Stewart certainly did wonders to enhance the icon’s complexion, Stewart’s skincare regimen deserves some credit, too. “Her skin is everything,” Toye noted in the interview. “She has the most amazing complexion,” making any product perform even better.

Stewart recently sat down with Prevention to reveal the beauty and wellness products she uses to look and feel her best. “Keeping a clean face at night, using a vitamin C serum, a peptide serum, helps lubricate and keep your skin looking really good,” Stewart told Prevention. “I use a lot of Mario Badescu—I consider [the brand] very affordable,” she continued. “People should look at those products,” adding that one of her favorites is the Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum.
