The $8 Trick Khloé Kardashian Uses to Quickly Burn Calories

Khloé Kardashian does not play when it comes to her workouts. Just look at her snaps and you'll see her holding planks and pushing through squats like it's nothing. And when she's not working on herself, she's helping others get in shape on her TV show Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian. And now, we can add fitness apparel designer to her resume as Good American, the label she co-founded with Emma Grede, launches its first activewear line.

It's the stuff gym-selfie dreams are made of. Think sexy leggings with strategically placed mesh panels and lines that'll accentuate those hips and smooth out that tummy. Plus, there are crop tops, sports bras, and hoodies in black, charcoal, white, and pink hues.

"Our brand is all about the fit and the fabrication," Grede exclusively told InStyle.com at the Good American activewear launch event at Six:02. "We had some issues at first because Khloé and I only want to put something into the market that we’re super happy with. So we went back to the drawing board and made sure the technical aspects were perfect."

They finally got it right with moisture-wicking fabric that won't leave you feeling sweaty after a gym session and compression fabric that holds in the stomach. "I need that more than ever as a new mom," Kardashian tells InStyle.com. "And you feel the difference when wearing our leggings compared to another brand. Our waistband is one inch higher than most waistbands, and I'm really grateful for that, especially when those love handles need to stay down."

In addition to those figure-flattering leggings, Kardashian also shared her secret for quickly burning calories. "I travel with a jump rope because it’s so small and compact," Kardashian explains. "Everyone one that tells me that they can’t lose those last five pounds, I tell them to jump rope—even if it's just a couple of minutes. It makes a big difference." That's no exaggeration when she says you only need a couple of minutes. Kardashian will squeeze in a mini jump rope session whenever she has down time. "Even if I’m at a hotel, I’ll watch TV and during the commercial breaks I’ll do two minutes [jumping rope]." And it's an affordable workout since most jump ropes are around $8. "Plus, it’s full-body: calves, stomach, and everything," adds Kardashian. "So I think jump roping is the smartest."
