This $8 Sam's Club Wine Named a Best Buy by 'Wine Enthusiast'

We know Sam's Club has outstanding beauty bargains. And amazing frying pans. And so much more.

But did you know that your local warehouse club also has some of the best affordable wine on the planet? For only $8, Sam's Club sells the Member’s Mark 2016 Medoc Bordeaux that was just named a Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast magazine in their January 2019 issue. In their review, Roger Boss described the wine as "A blend of equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this fresh, open wine is made to drink young. The red-fruit flavors, soft tannins and layer of ripe acidity are balanced and integrated. The wine is ready now."

According to Sam's Club, the wallet-friendly vino comes from one of the best vintages in the Bordeaux region in the last 30 years. Thanks to both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, the blend has blackberry, cherry, and plum flavor notes in a nuanced, full-bodied wine. The crush hails from small estates on the left bank of Bordeaux, France.
