Whether you’re in the market for some kitchen essentials, are looking to up your hosting game, or are just in the mood for a few new pieces of decor, you’ll certainly want to get browsing. To narrow your focus, we’ve asked nine Southern designers to share their top Dillard’s home picks with us, and they certainly delivered!

Bedding

When was the last time you upgraded your comforter and pillow covers? To add elegance to your sleep space, turn to Dillard’s for a luxe looking bedding set. “Adding a touch of velvet mixed with more casual elements like linen adds just the right amount of formality and romance to a bedroom,” shares Callie Blanks, who is the founder of Callie Blanks Interiors in Houston, Texas, and has used one of these velvet shams in her own primary bedroom.

If your sheets could use a refresh, look no further than this printed dot sheet set. “It would be a fun surprise popping out under a solid duvet cover, and soft bamboo bedding has been a hit with my clients in warm weather,” says Lesley Myrick, the founder of Lesley Myrick Interior Design in Macon, Georgia.

Ready for a finishing touch? Tara Lenney, the founder of Tara Lenney Design in Dallas, Texas, likes to add a “pop of saturated color” to any bed with bright throw pillows.

Entertaining Essentials

Preparing for guests? Swing by Dillard’s to grab a couple of Brenna Morgan’s go-to hosting essentials. Her first pick is this espresso brown serving board. “I always make a charcuterie board for my guests,” says the founder of Brenna Morgan Interiors, who is based in Cornelius, North Carolina. “Plus, it looks good on display in any kitchen.” Morgan’s second must have is a set of marble coasters, which she always keeps on hand to protect her furniture.

It’s time to make sure your home bar is up to par! Dillard's has a vast selection of bar tools, drinking glasses, and more. Katharine Rhudy, the founder of Reed & Acanthus Interior Design in New Orleans, relies on Waterford old fashioned glasses in her own home. She explains, “These cut crystal glasses are a nice heavy weight and the perfect size for bourbon sipping or any mixed drink.”

Everyday Tableware

Everyone needs trusty tableware that they’ll be excited to use day in and day out. Alexandria Elam, the founder of Alex Interiors in Houston, Texas, stocks her clients’ kitchens with staples from Dillard’s. “We want to source great quality pieces that will stand the test of time,” she says. One of her favorite picks is the Wedgwood White 16-Piece Dinnerware Set. “An all-white set also gives you the flexibility to mix & match with your holiday china when entertaining,” Elam adds.

If you’re in the market for finer china, Brit Nelson, the founder of Brit Nelson Interiors in Augusta, Georgia, swears by this beautiful set. “We firmly believe your 'good stuff' needs to be proudly used,” she says. “Classic lines and great colors make all generations of the family happy!” And as a major bonus, this set is dishwasher friendly.

Pitchers

Nelson likes to give this type of pitcher as a hostess gifts, and appreciates that they can have multiple uses. “They are perfect for holding flowers and watering them,” she says. “You can put them in almost any room and they don't look out of place.” While the blue color is full of fun, the pitcher comes in white and crystal, too.

Small Appliances

Dillard’s is chock full of practical finds for home, including small kitchen appliances. Elam has purchased this joint coffee maker and espresso machine multiple times. “It is always a crowd favorite,” she says. “We have even installed it in our own office—you can't beat it!”

Throw Blankets

Throw blankets will add instant coziness to any room of the home and are excellent for layering on the bed come fall and winter, too. “You can never have too many throw blankets, in my opinion,” says Whitney Durham, the founder of Whitney Durham Interiors in Atlanta, Georgia. She likes this fringed blanket, which is offered in several solid colors.

Trays

Rattan trays like these are “so versatile,” says Mallory Young, the founder of Mallory Young Interiors in Houston, Texas. “You can style them on a coffee table or console table and they immediately add warmth to the space.” They would look equally chic in a bathroom or on a nightstand, too.
