The cover’s textured grips were also super convenient because they made my big-screen Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra considerably less prone to slipping out during one-hand interactions on the go. Smartish offers the Wallet Slayer for the entire Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 range and older Samsung phones.

Strada Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S23

The Strada Series by OtterBox is the best wallet case with a folio cover for safeguarding the screen of your Galaxy. The accessory has a genuine leather exterior, a tough polycarbonate shell, and a sturdy magnetic latch closure for its folio cover. Its toughness exceeds military-grade durability standards, as expected from an OtterBox product.

I couldn’t help but be impressed by the genuine leather exterior and tactility of the Strada Series case while I tested it. It gave my big-screen Samsung Galaxy a luxurious look worthy of its price tag, though I wish the folio cover had space for more than two cards. The product’s compatibility with wireless charging was also super convenient, setting it apart from any other rival I tested for this guide.

The Spigen Slim Armor CS is the most minimalist, most elegant wallet case for Samsung Galaxy phones. Save for a minuscule bump for the card compartment on its back, the cover looks like a regular smartphone case. Its thin profile is an acceptable tradeoff for having space for only two cards.

Combined with a high-tech design with contrasting textures, the slim profile mentioned above was among my favorite bits about the Slim Armor CS. The sliding cover for the case’s wallet compartment is another awesome feature that belies its affordable price. The same goes for the accessory’s surprisingly tough build with shock-absorbing corners for uncompromising damage protection.

The Slim Armor CS is available in black for the current and older Samsung Galaxy S phones with Plus and Ultra monikers. Curiously, you are in luck if you are still rocking a more compact Samsung Galaxy S21.

Galaxy S23 Ultra Rugged Gadget Phone Case

Samsung’s rugged gadget case is the most versatile option on this list. Thanks to a unique and incredibly rugged mount on its back, the accessory can transform depending on your needs. It comes bundled with a cardholder and a hand grip that doubles as a viewing stand. Both add-ons lock securely to the case, ensuring they stay in place even if you drop your phone.

However, I wish the wallet attachment had space for more than two cards.

Its back is flat like on a regular protective case, with the RFID-protected card storage compartment hidden underneath a flap cover at its bottom.

My favorite bit about the Scooch Wingmate is that there’s no telling the product is a wallet case. In addition, its textured side grips and back made my phone easier to hold comfortably, while a nifty slot allowed me to use a card as a landscape and portrait viewing stand.

However, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to the front bottom edge of my Galaxy if I dropped it with the Scooch Wingmate. Its wallet cover exposed it by lacking edges for this crucial area.

Rugged Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S23

Samsung Galaxy phones don’t have onboard magnets for attaching accessories (including wallets) like their iPhone rivals, but you can access similar functionality via a protective case. This rugged case by Rokform is the best for the task, especially when paired with the brand’s Fuzion magnetic wallet. The two accessories’ link is incredibly secure, thanks to proprietary magnets with industry-leading strength.

Of all the products I tested for this guide, the Rokform case combo with the Fuzion was the only one that could fully replace my regular wallet, so it’s worth splurging on. The wallet has enough space for up to 7 cards and a couple of folded bills, even though it is super compact. In addition, the accessory’s retractable viewing stand made gaming with a wireless controller and streaming video on my Galaxy Ultra a breeze.

S-View Wallet Case for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The S-View wallet case by Samsung will change how you interact with your Galaxy smartphone by rocking a tiny cutout for its touchscreen. The nifty feature will allow you to glance at relevant info and notifications, control the audio playback, and, remarkably, even make calls without opening the folio cover.

The above functionality was a lifesaver during my testing, allowing me to take calls with one hand while lugging a heavy grocery bag. It also helped me reduce distractions and phone screen time during a long weekend trip, helping me to focus on the change of scenery and spending time with family. However, I wish the wallet case had space for more than one card.

Samsung offers the S-View wallet for the entire Galaxy S23 lineup and cheaper phones like the Galaxy A54. Product versions for older Galaxy S models lack a card slot.
