Summer blockbuster season is officially here. We can’t contain our excitement to see these movies on the big screen (looking at you, Incredibles 2!), so we decided to celebrate them a little early in mouthwatering fashion. We’ll definitely be snacking on popcorn while we’re watching, but make these recipes to show off your love for Deadpool 2, Ocean’s 8, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and more before or after you head to the theater.

Avengers: Infinity War - April 27

Hopefully you’ve had time by now to watch most of Marvel’s most popular superheroes team up to take on Thanos (maybe you’ve even been able to go back for a second show?). Of course, there’s no better way to show your love for the entire team than by making this dessert inspired by the first Avenger, Captain America. Cap’s signature stars and stripes have never looked better than they do hidden inside this yummy frozen yogurt cake. You’ll just have to assemble your own team of superhero fans to share this icebox dessert with!

Deadpool 2 - May 10

If you’ve already seen Deadpool 2, you know Wade Wilson is a fan of Seabreeze cocktails (grapefruit juice, vodka, and cranberry juice), but not so much a fan of the name. Just for him, we stirred up a similar cocktail that he won’t be as embarrassed to order. Not only does the bright red hue of this drink match Deadpool’s iconic suit but it also spices up the classic Seabreeze a bit by mixing vanilla vodka and a splash of ginger ale. This crimson cocktail captures the essence of our favorite wise-cracking antihero in a glass.

Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 24

These out-of-this-world cookies recall a galaxy far, far away. Serve Shooting Star Cookies before your viewing of Solo: A Star Wars Story, and they’ll help you make the jump to light speed to snag your movie tickets faster. Solo contains lots of references and callbacks to other Star Wars movies, so it’s only fitting to bake a batch of classic sugar cookies frosted with royal icing. Chewbacca would surely approve of bringing this dessert on board!

Ocean's 8 - June 8

Eagle-eyed New Yorkers who have seen the trailer or the flick may have recognized the restaurant where Sandra Bullock's and Cate Blanchett’s characters plan their heist. It’s Veselka, the most popular Ukrainian diner in the East Village. Show your support for these A-list partners in crime by cooking up our own pierogies for dinner (one of Veselka’s most well-known dishes). We’re definitely not capable of planning a Debbie Ocean-worthy heist, but we can at least aspire to eat like her.

Incredibles 2, June 15

When Helen Parr gets called out of retirement to fight bad guys as Elastigirl, it’s up to Mr. Incredible to hold down the fort. And all super families need super fuel in the morning. We’re not sure if waffles are a morning ritual at our favorite heroes’ house, but we have seen Mr. Incredible cooking them up for breakfast in the trailer.

We think Helen, Bob, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack would like this superhero-approved breakfast even more served with a red raspberry-rhubarb topper. Be sure not to drip any on your super suit.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - June 22

It’s true that the carnivores like Tyrannosaurus rex play a major role in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, we feel much more comfortable hanging out with the herbivores. Holding a Jurassic Park marathon to refresh your memory before seeing the latest installment? Serve this easy Caesar salad (made with dinosaur kale) to you herbivore friends. If your crowd is full of carnivores, try making one of our variations featuring chicken or salmon.

Ant-Man and the Wasp - July 6

Where would Ant-Man be without help from a few mighty six-legged friends? Of course, starting July 6, he’ll have backup from Wasp, who looks like she can more than hold her own in the trailers. To get in the mood for Ant-Man and Wasp we’re sharing our favorite sweet and savory ant-inspired treats. Try classic ants on a log made a little sweet with a few mini chocolate chips, or make this childhood favorite a little more grown-up by topping celery with cheese and chorizo sausage.
