1. ‘Red, White & Blue’ concert in Suntree

Advent Lutheran Church, 7550 N. Wickham Road, Suntree, offers free patriotic concerts on Sunday, May 19 at 3 and 6 p.m. “Melodies & Masterpieces: Red, White & Blue” will showcase the talents of 60 Brevard music educators in a large band and choir, along with brass, string and woodwind ensembles. The program will include patriotic music, American folk songs, works by Aaron Copeland, Scott Joplin and more. Dress in red, white and blue. Admission is free. 2. 3rd Sunday Sidewalk Stroll in EGAD

Discover the charm of the Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD) with a Sunday stroll through the neighborhood on the third Sunday of every month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thrive Local, 1416 Highland Ave., Melbourne, hosts the event where local artisans will showcase their handcrafted goods, from jewelry to artwork to delicious treats. 3. Bark Brew Fest in Cocoa Village

Bring your canine companion to Dirty Oar Beer Company, 329 King Street, Cocoa, for the 33rd Bark Brew Fest on Saturday, May 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. The evening will include bingo, prizes, raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing. Proceeds will benefit Great Dane Love - A Central Florida Rescue, Inc. All pets must be on a leash or in appropriate carriers and have current vaccinations and county tags. 4. Free Comic Book Day in Melbourne

5. Fire engine celebration in Rockledge

The City of Rockledge’s 1924 American LaFrance fire engine, nicknamed “Grandma,” turns 100 years old, and the city is celebrating on Saturday, May 18 at 11 a.m. Stop by Rockledge City Hall, 1600 Huntington Lane, for an outdoor display, giveaways, cake and an indoor program. 6. Cocoa Beach Friday Fest

Downtown Cocoa Beach will hold a family-friendly Friday Fest on the third Friday of every month along Minutemen Causeway from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks and local artisans showcasing their unique crafts. Admission is free. Visit cocoabeachmainstreet.org.

7. Ranger-led tour of Turkey Creek Sanctuary

Turkey Creek Sanctuary, 1518 Port Malabar Blvd NE, Palm Bay, offers free ranger-led tours on the first and third Sundays of each month, excluding holidays, from 10 to 11 a.m. Participants should meet at the sanctuary Nature Center and bring sturdy tennis shoes or boots, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, snacks, binoculars and a hat. Tours will take place on the boardwalk and various trails. Each tour will be led by a park ranger and will focus on common plants and animals found in the sanctuary. Total distance for tours is approximately 1 to 1.5 miles and should take about 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours to complete. Admission is free. To sign up, call the Nature Center at 321-676-6690.
