7-Eleven Free Slurpee Day Is Here Again

Prepare to pick your flavor. It's July 11, and that can mean only one thing for 7-Eleven fans everywhere — free Slurpee day has arrived.

The chain, also known for its new makeup line, turns 91-years-old today, and is celebrating with a day that features a free small Slurpee for all. Of course, in keeping with the day's theme, the promotion runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your local 7-Eleven.

Along with the traditional Slurpee flavors like Wild Cherry and Blue Raspberry, the chain has announced a new addition to its flavor menu. For those with a serious sweet tooth, 7-Eleven has created the Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Slurpee flavor. The cereal turned Slurpee flavor has received early mixed reactions from social media, with some calling it "the best flavor ever" and "good" while others have decided that one taste might be enough, and "do not recommend it."

Although social media might be divided on this important Slurpee issue, you can decide for yourself today, and pick up the flavor for free. And of course, summer wouldn't be complete without a grilled treat, too. Along with a free Slurpee, customers can also enjoy the "dog days" of summer and partake in $1 hot dogs today and again on National Hot Dog on July 18.

Cheap hot dogs and a free Slurpee? This might just be the best day of summer yet.
