1. MadeGood Granola Minis Variety Pack (Chocolate Chip and Mixed Berry)

$4 off in warehouse and online

If you don’t have the time to make your own granola bars, these nut-free MadeGood Granola Minis are a great backup. Granola is made with oats, and oats are a great snack, providing fiber, plant-based protein and complex carbohydrates for lasting energy. Oats have also been linked with reduced cholesterol, and eating them can help manage blood sugar. With just 4 to 6 grams of added sugar in each packet, these little granola bites make a great snack or a dessert after lunch. Or you can toss them over plain Greek yogurt and berries for a crunchy, fruity breakfast parfait.

2. Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers

$3.50 off in warehouse and online

If you eat gluten-free, you know how difficult it can be to find crackers that taste good, have that traditional cracker snap and hold up to whatever you top them with. Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers fit the bill. These corn- and grain-free crackers are made with a nut-and-seed flour blend that includes finely ground almonds, sunflower seeds and flaxseed. They even look like more traditional crackers. But taste and texture aren’t the only things these crackers have going for them. In one serving—about 17 crackers—you’ll also get about 17% of your fiber for the day, plus 3 grams of protein.

3. Good Foods Organic Avocado Mash and Wholly Avocado Organic Smashed Avocado with Sea Salt

$4 off in warehouse only

What’s not to love about avocados? They’re creamy, full of nutrients and provide all those healthy fats linked with better gut, brain and heart health. There’s even evidence that regularly eating avocados may reduce belly fat. Avocados are versatile, too. They go great with salads, tacos and, of course, avocado toast. If you’re like me, though, sometimes that poor avocado sits forgotten until it’s a shriveled, nearly empty shell. That’s why I love pre-mashed avocado. It saves time, and ultimately money, since the airtight packaging extends its life. What I especially love about these is that they’re little snack-size containers so you’re not opening one big container only to find that it’s all brown and gross-looking the next time you use it. And these have just the bare minimum ingredients: avocado and sea salt (the Good Foods mash also has pepper and lemon). This means you can spice it up to guacamole level if you want or keep it simple. I love using these avocado packs in my smoothies—you can’t taste the avocado but it gives a wonderful silky texture. It also adds healthy fats and fiber, which helps keep me full longer.

4. Tillamook Medium Cheddar Snack Portions

$3.50 off in warehouse only

I first discovered Tillamook because of their ice cream (so good!). And soon I discovered their other offerings, including these Cheddar Snack Portions. What I love about them is that they’re already portioned out and ready to go, whether you toss them into kids’ lunchboxes or your bag for a quick at-work snack. For a balanced snack, try pairing these with the Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers and an apple or handful of grapes. If you’re still on the fence about whether cheese is healthy or not, rest assured—it is. Yes, it is fairly high in saturated fat, but there is evidence suggesting that the type of saturated fat in cheese does not have the same effect as other types of saturated fat, which can put your heart at risk when eaten in large quantities over a period of time. You’ll also get some calcium, protein and probiotics with Cheddar cheese.

5. Kirkland Signature Wild Caught Alaska Sockeye Salmon

$5 off in warehouse only

If you’re a wild salmon lover, this is a deal you can’t pass up. There are several things I like about the Kirkland Signature Wild Caught Alaska Sockeye Salmon (besides the fact that it’s on sale). First, Alaskan salmon is low in mercury—something you want to watch out for in general, but especially if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or feeding the fish to kids. It also comes in individual vacuum-packed portions. This is perfect for preventing food waste and cooking only what you’ll eat. Eating salmon regularly has all kinds of health benefits, including supporting heart, brain and nerve health—and it can help calm chronic inflammation, a culprit of chronic disease. If that’s not enough to convince you, omega-3s are also good for your skin. Additionally, sockeye salmon is one of the few food sources of vitamin D—a 3-ounce serving will give you a whopping 71% of your day’s worth. If you’re not sure how to cook salmon, we’ve got you covered, from spicy salmon cakes and grilled salmon to pan-roasted salmon and salmon tacos.

6. Pom Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice

$3 off in warehouse only

Looking for a quick and easy way to get a fruit serving that packs a nutritional punch? Pomegranate juice may be your answer. As its color would suggest, pomegranate juice is packed with powerful antioxidants. And while pomegranate juice doesn’t have fiber—and all the benefits that come with it—like pomegranate seeds do, the benefits of drinking a little bit of pomegranate juice each day is something to behold. Research suggests that pomegranate juice is associated with lower blood pressure and better lipid metabolism (basically, how fats are broken down in your body to be used for energy)—which together can lower heart disease risk. It’s also been linked with blood sugar regulation and reducing chronic inflammation. Pomegranate juice doesn’t have to be all kids’ play, though. Try using it for grown-up beverages, like Ina Garten’s Pomegranate Gimlets or our Pomegranate Margaritas.

7. Cocoxo Organic Dark Chocolate Coconut Cups

$3 off in warehouse only

I couldn’t end this list without including a little sweet treat. If you like the dark chocolate-coconut combo (like me!), these Cocoxo Organic Dark Chocolate Coconut Cups are next level! The coconut and white chocolate filling is enrobed in a rich 85% dark chocolate shell (are you drooling yet?). These little cups of heaven are organic, gluten-free and have only 3 grams of added sugar per cup—that’s just 6% of your day’s worth of added sugar. Dark chocolate has several potential health benefits, including supporting heart health, lowering blood pressure, reducing diabetes risk, improving cognitive function and boosting iron levels. It’s even been linked with reducing menstrual cramps and reducing the risk of depression. The coconut in these cups provides a little fiber—2 grams per cup. Just be aware that one cup also provides about 20% of your saturated fat for the day (much of it coming from the coconut), but there is evidence that the type of saturated fat in coconuts probably isn’t as harmful as other types of saturated fat; just stick with moderate portions.
