We're officially halfway through New York Fashion Week, and while most people are looking for outfit inspiration, we’re in it for the nail art. Here, seven looks we saw backstage that we'll be wearing all fall.

Orbit Nails
Miss Pop, the genius behind this look, suggests painting your entire nail a bold color (like the cobalt shown above) and using an opaque neutral shade to fill in the center.
Double Stripes
At KITH, manicurist Alicia Torello drew inspiration from the iconic Tommy Hilfiger logo to create this look. Try it yourself by painting two horizontal strips of color over a nude base coat.
Graphic Tips
Torello did a second look for the brand that's inspired by the Versace logo. Her technique: Use a striping brush and start just past the center of your nail and work toward the tip. (Though we may just take this one to the salon.)
Nautical Accents
Calling all minimalists: It doesn’t get much easier (or simpler) than this two-nail design seen at Monse. Paint a white slant tip on your ring finger and two linear accents on your pointer.
Chipped Mani
The faux-chipped manicure is to nail art as sneakers and fanny packs are to fashion: playful and not for everyone. At Tibi, it paired perfectly with the colorful collection. Using the brush in the polish bottle, dab paint on in uneven strokes starting in the center of the nail bed and working outward.
Grown-Up Glitter
This sweet manicure was created as a tribute to the late Kate Spade and her famous quote: “She left a little sparkle wherever she went.” To keep the look sophisticated, sweep a light coat of glitter over the nails allowing for plenty of base color to show through.
Zebra Print
Take a cue from Christian Siriano and try a black-and-white animal print. Rest assured, the lines are meant to zigzag, so go ahead and get a little wild with them.
