Whatever your plans are for Barbie's release day—be it a boozy brunch before the screening, or a post-screening disco—it’s important to keep the good vibes going. Hype for the fuschia film has been monumental. There are Barbie-inspired Burger King meals, plus songs from the soundtrack are already charting on the Billboard Hot 100—and we obviously have to mention the incredible arrival of Kenergy.
But you’re not fully prepared to watch the film until you’ve had a sip of a delicious, Barbie-inspired cocktail. How else are you supposed to pregame for what may very well be the hottest blockbuster of the summer? So, before you put on your best pink outfit and take a seat in the theater, you better whip up one of these Barbie-inspired drinks—which we've compiled just for us. Strawberry Moon
Something to sip on while you contemplate life in a Barbie world.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Astral Tequila Añejo
0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 Cubed Strawberries
Ginger Beer to Top
Halved Strawberry + Mint Sprig Garnish
Add Astral Tequila Añejo, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and cubed strawberries to a cocktail shaker and muddle slightly. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for six to eight seconds. Add ginger beer to the shaker and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with a halved strawberry and mint sprig.
Sunny Aperol Spritz
If you fancy a hint of bitterness with your sweet, this recipe is perfect for you.
Ingredients
1 oz Sunny Vodka
2 oz Aperol
2 oz craft soda water
orange wheel
Mix together. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig.

A show-stopping drink for a show-stopping film.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Tequila Don Julio Rosado
0.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
0.5 oz.1 Lime Juice
0.25 Agave Syrup
Top with Sparkling Rosé
Garnish with salt rim & grapefruit juice
Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, then strain into a coupe glass. Top with sparkling rosé.
Coastal Tides
For the Barbies and Kens who like when their cocktails remind them of the ocean.
Ingredients:
2oz Gray Whale Gino
1.5oz coconut water
1oz lavender syrup
0.75oz fresh lemon juice
Lemon wheel
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake for 3-4 seconds and strain over fresh ice. Top with lemon wheel.
Rose & Raspberry Fizz

Ingredients
1.5 oz. Glendalough Wild Rose Irish Gin
0.5 oz. Aperol
0.5 oz. Raspberry Syrup
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1.5 oz. Soda Water
Raspberry & Mint Leaves garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin (except soda) with ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Add the soda and garnish with a raspberry and a freshly torn and slapped sprig of mint.
Malibu Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri
We had a Malibu Barbie, so why not a Malibu Daiquiri?
Ingredients:
1 Part Malibu Strawberry
⅔ Part lime juice
⅓ Part simple syrup
⅓ Part strawberry puree
Mix everything in a blender with a scoop of crushed ice. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Ingredients
2oz Maison No. 9
1oz Vodka
0.75oz Lime
0.5oz Simple Syrup
3oz Watermelon Juice
Tajin (Optional for glass rim)
Ice
Add vodka, lime, simple syrup, and watermelon juice. Shake with ice. Rim glass with Tajin. Pour ingredients into glass. Add in Maison No. 9.
