  • The actress, 62, took the moment to flaunt her strong body and have a little 'free the nipple' moment.

  • Allison hasn't shared much about her workout routines, but she's been very open about her balanced approach to her diet.

This probably comes as no surprise, but in case you missed it, Allison Janney absolutely rocked the red carpet this week when she showed up for the premiere of "The People We Hate At The Wedding" in Los Angeles. The 62-year-old star donned a sparkly, see-through, floor length gown that left very little to the imagination.

From the braided sleeves, to the West Wing star's not-so-subtle #FreeTheNipple moment, Allison was looking incredibly strong, from her head to her toes. This woman knows how to work a sheer dress.

If you're here for some insights into Allison's health and wellness routines (because she is simply glowing with strength in these photos), I've got you. For one, the star has a refreshing stance on fueling her body, which involves a very balanced approach to her diet. "I eat what I want," she told Chicago Sun Times. Still, she does love eating healthy because of the way it makes her feel.

"On most days, I try to stick to the protein and veggies and skip the other stuff,” she told the outlet back in 2015. "What helps is I know that I can have that treat. I’m not denying myself.”

She also gave Architectural Digest a sneak peek into her fridge in 2018, where the staples were pretty simple: Eggs, rosé, Cholula hot sauce, and dark chocolate. And in another 2015 interview with Vanity Fair, she detailed her post-Emmy win routine which included some Golden Arches...

"So we got some McDonald’s on the way out of the Emmys . . . some French fries. There was a funny picture I tweeted of [boyfriend] Phil and I standing on the curb waiting for our car," she said. "It took like 45 minutes, so I sat on the Emmy . . . it was in box and I sat on it, and we ate some French fries and waited for the car and went home, and we just relaxed."

When it comes to her workouts, Allison doesn't share a ton, but back in 2018, she shared a video of herself working out with trainer Sergio Carbajal, stating that he "kills me with kicks" and adding "#workoutwednesday." And Sergio has also posted that he helped Allison get in shape for a project, writing in a post, "I had to rock her awesome specs while giving her a good #ass kickin'."

But Allison has been incorporating movement into her day since she was a little girl. She told told NPR that she used to be a figure skater, but opted for acting after an injury.

“My mother always said I had incredible tenacity and drive. I used to be a figure skater when I was a kid. When I first put on skates and didn't skate that well, I saw some other girl on the ice who was really good. I was so competitive that my mother said I stayed on the ice until I could skate,” she told The Gentlewoman.

Adding: “At times, maybe I'm too competitive for my own good. But I'd rather hear someone say ‘You suck!’ before I go on stage because I'd rather be challenged. Competitiveness gives you that edge, so that when it's down to you and someone else, you can go in there and not fall apart.”

One can only imagine this tenacity translated into her acting career!

We love you, Allison!
