Television's biggest night is getting some big reactions from Twitter.

Tonight, the 74th annual Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with first-time host, Saturday Night Love comedian Kenan Thompson, at the helm. The biggest names on TV made some glamorous red-carpet appearances, including—but not limited to—Zendaya, Issa Rae, Elle Fanning, and Lily James.

Some contenders made Emmys history, like Zendaya becoming the first Black woman to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series twice, as well as becoming the youngest two-time Emmy winner in history. Others, like Sheryl Lee Ralph, resonated with viewers for their emotional and passionate acceptance speeches.
