America’s favorite wisecracking single mom is headed to Netflix.

That’s right folks, all six seasons of Reba will make their debut on the streaming platform next month.

The beloved sitcom starring Reba McEntire, Christopher Rich, Joanna García Swisher, Steve Howey, and Melissa Peterman ran on network television from 2001 to 2007. And starting May 6, it will be available for your binge-watching pleasure on Netflix.

Based in Houston, Reba follows the trials and tribulations of Reba Hart (McEntire) and her three children after her husband leaves her for a woman half her age. Through teen pregnancies and an assortment of growing pains, Reba leads her family with humor, wit, and a whole lot of heart.

The Emmy-nominated show, which boasted a hit theme song written and performed by McEntire, “I’m A Survivor,” was most recently syndicated on the Hallmark Channel. Reba is also currently available in its entirety on Hulu.

McEntire has stayed in the television industry since Reba went off the air nearly 20 years ago, starring in Malibu Country, Big Sky, and The Hammer before signing on to her current role as a coach on The Voice. The country legend is also set to star in an upcoming NBC sitcom alongside her Reba co-star Melissa Peterman.

In a 2020 interview on The Bobby Bones Show, McEntire admitted to trying (and failing) to get a Reba reboot off the ground.

"I really want to work with the people that I got to work with during those six and a half years,” she said. "It was fun, the cast, the crew, everybody we got to work with and play with, they were wonderful people. We wanted to get back together like a reunion and have fun, so hopefully that will happen one day."

Reba will be available to stream on Netflix Monday, May 6, 2024.
