*Warning: Spoilers ahead*
Now that Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette is over, all eyes are on ABC as we wait for the highly anticipated The Bachelor announcement.
As much as we’d love to say that a decision has been made, that doesn’t seem to be the case. So, we did some digging and narrowed it down to a list of six potential contenders, including one former contestant who has the best odds. (Cough, Peter Weber, cough.)
From Tyler Cameron to Luke Parker (hear us out…), here are our top picks for season 24 of The Bachelor.
Brown sent home the pilot in part one of The Bachelorette finale, so the odds are in our favor. Not only does Peter have America on his side, but he’d also redeem the aviation industry after fellow pilot Jake Pavelka’s flop of a season. (Shout-out to Vienna Girardi, who deserved so much better.)
Although ABC is waiting to make the announcement, a source recently told Us Weekly that “Peter has been the producers’ front-runner all along.” So take note, people.
Remember him from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette? Well, he’s still single and starring on the current season of Bachelor in Paradise.
While he could find love on the beaches of Mexico and never need to go on national TV to find a partner again, we can’t help but remember that time Colton Underwood went on BiP and became the Bachelor shortly after. Maybe history will repeat itself?
Reality Steve reported that Tyler’s mom has been telling multiple people that “he’s gonna be the next Bachelor.” Whether she’s a legitimate source or a bragging mom, we’re not entirely sure. But we’d be stupid to rule him out simply because he appears to be hitting it off with Gigi Hadid.
We know, we know. He already had his chance on season 20 of The Bachelor. But it’s no secret that ABC—including Chris Harrison—is obsessed with the reality star.
It all started during The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All when Harrison announced that Higgins is hosting “The Bachelor Live on Stage” in 2020. Although he didn’t reveal any further information about the upcoming season of the popular series, we can’t deny that Higgins’s new gig could low-key double as a promotional tour. Just saying…
Yes, this hypothetical season of The Bachelor would be a disaster. But the more we think about it, the more we realize that it would be annoyingly entertaining.
You see, Luke fought with just about every man in the house. But if the tables were turned, there would be no fights to pick (or so we hope). All of his focus would be on the ladies, and while we can’t say that his crazy side wouldn’t surface, we aren’t afraid to admit that we’d dedicate our Monday nights to watching it all go down.
Last but not least, there’s Mike. We’ve been a fan of him ever since he stepped out of the limo to meet Hannah Brown, and we aren’t the only ones. In fact, Mike has multiple Bachelor Nation supporters speaking out on his behalf.
First, Harrison revealed that he fully supports Mike as a potential Bachelor, saying, “How could he not be a contender with that smile? He’s one of my favorite people we’ve ever had on the show. He’s a love of a man.”
Then former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher sat down for an interview with The Blast and confirmed that she’s Team Mike. She said, “He’s so cute. He’s so handsome. He’s charming. I love him. Mike for Bachelor.”
Your move, ABC.
