•
Watermelon is the ultimate summer fruit — what better way to pay homage to its deliciousness with an adorable manicure?

As with all nail art, you have options. Go for a low-key look as nail technician Alicia did with this moon-shaped melon design at the cuticles, or plan to cover your entire nail with the seedy fruit. No matter what you choose to do, a watermelon mani is definitely worth trying before the summer is over.

    • I like to think of this trend as negative space nail art's long lost sister. The only real difference between the two styles is that that to accomplish see-through nails you need to have acrylics, whereas, with a negative space look, you do not. Once the acrylics are placed on, you can go nuts with any design style — just be sure it doesn't cover the entire nail. That way, you don't lose the see-through effect. Pictured here is Magdalena's geometric design.
    •
Nothing says "It's summer, let's celebrate" quite like confetti nails. Just imagine your digits decked out in glitter, foiled stars, and sequins as you sip on a glass of rosé, or as you dance out of work on a summer Friday. Sounds nice, right? Confetti nails are especially cool in that they take a few different popular nail appliqués, like stars and sparkles, and meld them together to make one amazing, party-ready manicure. And of course, it's completely customizable.

Editors and influencers alike have both been seen wearing the trend, too, so if you've got a soft spot in your heart for sparkle, we highly suggest giving confetti nails a try. Here's more inspiration.

Lindsey Graham Says He's 'Made Up' His Mind Before Trump’s Senate Trial Even Starts

DOVIDO: Now, let me see if I understand this. Graham was elected by the people to represent their interests and took an oath of office that, it seems to me, requires him to be an impartial jurist in any impeachment trials that may arise in the senate. Is he saying that his oath of office was just a "suggestion" and not really something that he, and other members of the Senate, are expected to honor? Hmmmm. Are there elections that are being held in 2020 that might provide us with a remedy to these law breakers (they were supposed to be "law makers."
