At 59, Melissa Gilbert Is ‘In Love’ With This Balm that Gives a ‘Beautiful Glow’

Melissa Gilbert may’ve said goodbye to Botox, but that doesn’t mean she’s against a little glow. In fact, in a new interview, she shared her favorite product for achieving a natural radiance. “I’m in love with Jones Road Beauty’s Miracle Balm,” she told USA Today. “It gives such a beautiful glow.”

If you’re not familiar with the fan favorite, versatile balm, it’s a staple of Jones Road Beauty, a cosmetic brand created by veteran makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Brown made the balm to satisfy the needs of dry, aging skin—to provide luminosity, moisture, and color all at once.

On the brand’s website, the balm is described as “no-makeup-makeup” that easily melts into the skin with fingertip application. It comes in 10 shades that can be used as a bronzer, blush, highlighter, and even lip balm. “My personal favorite is the Magic Hour which gives this luminosity on the cheek,” Brown previously told Prevention. “Sometimes I only put that on when I just need to look better or I put it on at the end [of my makeup routine].” She also has previously shown love to Happy Hour, which lives up to its name. “This is just a pretty ballerina pink that just makes you look instantly pretty. Instantly happy,” she told Prevention.

The balm’s formula includes nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil, argan oil, and vitamin E, which all work together to hydrate and moisturize the skin. “As we get older we want to make sure the texture on the skin looks smooth, looks even, and doesn’t look cakey,” Brown told Prevention in sharing her makeup tips for women over 45. “And I definitely believe that moisture is the way to do it.”

Reviewers love it just as much as Gilbert and Brown do. “I’m 69 and look after my skin but hate wearing foundation as it never looks right.
