At 56, Elizabeth Hurley Rocks a White Bikini While Celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Elizabeth Hurley celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee from the Caribbean with a new bikini Instagram post.
The actress has been on-location filming for the past couple of months.
“Bringing a bit of Blighty to the Caribbean on the momentous Platinum Jubilee,” she wrote.
Elizabeth Hurley might be feeling a little homesick for the first time since she temporarily relocated to the Caribbean for work in April. Over the weekend, while the United Kingdom held Queen Elizabeth’s momentous Platinum Jubilee festivities, the British actress did her best to celebrate from afar.
In a gallery of Instagram photos, the 56-year-old looked so toned, while strutting the beach in a white bikini wearing sunglasses and a smile. She playfully tossed a hover disc printed with the U.K. flag. “Bringing a bit of Blighty to the Caribbean on the momentous Platinum Jubilee. All hail HM Queen Elizabeth 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻,” she captioned the post.
Followers and fellow Brits loved Hurley’s message. “We missed you! 🇬🇧👑,” one person commented. “A beautiful tribute to the other Liz 🇬🇧 😍,” another added. “YOU are the queen!” someone else wrote.
Though she may miss home sometimes, Hurley is having quite the time during her extended tropical island stay. Over the last couple of months, the swimsuit designer has shared tidbits from filming breaks—including a “magnificent” starfish encounter, a weekend dancing in a black bikini, a poolside lounge moment, and more. In an April 19 Instagram, she teased the new movie that made it all happen.
“Filming on a sunny island has its pros #newmovie #fatherchristmasisback…again 😘,” she captioned the turquoise bikini shot, hinting that she may be making a sequel to her 2021 holiday film, Father Christmas Is Back. However, since then, The Wrap has reported that a film called Christmas in the Caribbean starring Hurley is set to release in November.
Although both movies are directed by Philippe Martinez and share some cast members, per IMDb, Christmas in the Caribbean and Father Christmas have very different storylines. The former follows a woman named Rachel, who is left at the altar by her fiancé and decides to take her best friends on her tropical honeymoon where she ultimately finds love. Father Christmas is about a group of sisters who reunite with their estranged father over the Christmas holiday.
So it doesn’t seem like Christmas in the Caribbean could be a Father Christmas 2, but who knows—Hurley has been away for quite some time. Perhaps the cast has been busy filming both. Only time will tell. Until then, we’ll continue enjoying Hurley‘s vague updates from paradise.
