At 54, Jennifer Aniston Shows Off Gray Hair in New Video and Fans Have Thoughts

Jennifer Aniston showed off gray roots in a new Instagram video and fans loved it.
The 54-year-old actress shared the clip to announce her latest hair product launch from Lolavie.
Aniston has been open in the past about her thoughts on going gray.
Jennifer Aniston knows how to cause a stir on social media. The Murder Mystery 2 star often uses the platform to promote her work and give fans a glimpse into her personal life. Now, the star is showing off her gray hair in a new video promoting the newest addition to her haircare line, Lolavie—and fans are loving the salt and pepper strands.
It wasn’t long ago that the ’90s hair icon launched her Lolavie hair care line. The brand has taken off, dropping new products regularly (like the recent shampoo and conditioner, which she promoted with that steamy shower pic on Instagram). In her latest Instagram post, the star announced the collection’s newest addition, an Intensive Repair Treatment.
In the video, the star holds the new product and discusses her excitement for it while her salt and pepper roots are on display. “New @lolavie drop 🩵👏🏼” Aniston captioned the video where she discussed the newest product.
“Hi. This is our new Intensive Repair Treatment,” Aniston explained. “You can use it once a week. Just wrap it up in a towel after your shampoo…then you put this in, leave it in, brush it through, leave it in the towel, sleep in it an hour, whatever you want.”
“I’m excited,” she continued. “We’re excited!”
While fans were definitely excited about the Intensive Repair Treatment, they were equally excited by Aniston’s silver strands that she proudly displayed in the video. Aniston wore her hair in a beautiful yet casual half-up half-down style with a few face-framing pieces left out along her hairline. But the best part of the ’do was the gray roots that blended effortlessly into her multi-dimensional blonde tresses.
“Well done for allowing grey to come through—refreshing,” wrote one fan under the video. “Jen your hair is just a masterpiece and everybody agrees,” added another. “Love, love the grays ❤️,” another fan chimed in.
Aniston previously shared her thoughts on gray hair and aging in an interview with Glamour. “If you want to go gray, go for it! If you want to keep coloring your hair, that’s great too. I think everyone should feel confident in whatever choices they make, including embracing natural color or texture,” she said in the interview. “Hair is a creative way to express yourself, and I love that your mood and energy can change with the change of a hairstyle, cut, or color. Embrace what is going to make you happy.”
The actress also shared in the interview that aging is “inevitable” and what’s most important to her is staying healthy. “For me, it’s more of the question of how do I take the best care of myself, physically and mentally?” Aniston explained. “We can still thrive when we’re older, and that’s thanks to all the advancements in health, nutrition, technology, and science.”
“We’re all going to get older,” she added in another recent interview about aging, her parents, and health lessons. “We’re all headed to that exact same spot. But we can take care of our skin. We can have a healthy diet. We can drink lots of water.”
