While we love Jennifer Lopez’s glowing, makeup free photos (and her skincare secrets responsible for that signature J-Lo glow), we can’t help but fawn over her stunning outfits like the one she debuted last night on the red carpet. The 53-year-old actress stepped out to the premiere of her newest film, Shotgun Wedding, in Los Angeles and sparkled the entire night, rocking a nude see-through gown.
The star looked so toned while donning the mesh dress adorned with gemstones and glitter. A neon yellow belt peeked through from underneath for an added pop of color. She matched her small clutch bag to the yellow belt and her glittery shoes and long, dangling earrings to the dress, seamlessly pulling the look together. Lopez wore her hair in a neat, slicked-back bun and kept her makeup neutral and radiant.
Lopez posted the stunning look on her Instagram and fans were loving the photos. “YOU KILLED IT!!! 👏,” wrote one fan, while another commented, “This look is everything, you look wonderful and stunning. ❤️❤️” Another fan added, “STUNNING OMGGGG!! Can’t wait to see this movie 🙌✨”
Sparkles were clearly the theme of the night. For the after party, Lopez changed into another glittering gown—this time a shorter, long-sleeve dress with silver sequins and white ruffles, as seen in a later Instagram video the actress posted with costar Jennifer Coolidge.
“We are having a good time,” Lopez said in the video. “I recommend you should see this in the movies with an audience, that’s how you should see a comedy. I love you guys, thank you so much.”
The new rom-com, starring Lopez and Josh Duhamel, premieres January 27th on Amazon Prime, according to the trailer Lopez posted last week. “Cheers, everybody! 🥂,” the caption read. “It’ll be the most chaotic event of the year. We promise.”
While we can’t wait to check out the new film, we also can’t help but be reminded that Lopez was recently a bride in real life, too (and on screen in Marry Me—we’re sensing a theme here). Lopez first revealed she and husband Ben Affleck’s own sort of shotgun wedding via an inconspicuous Instagram selfie, glowing from bed while wearing just her wedding ring, a few months ago.
As for how the 53-year-old stays so toned, she’s been open about her diet and fitness routine in the past. And no surprise—it’s intense. Lopez switches up her routine all the time, working with different trainers depending on where she is in the world. “I like switching it up with my body,” she told Hollywood Life in 2016. Whether she’s doing planks and push-ups with a trainer or dancing to a new song, Lopez ensures she’s always staying active.
