At 51, Jennifer Garner Shows Off Ultra-Toned Legs in Mini Skirt

Reese Witherspoon’s media company Hello Sunshine recently hosted its inaugural Shine Away event with the purpose of bringing women in entertainment together. Of course, Witherspoon’s good friend and fellow actress Jennifer Garner was in attendance, and her outfit matched the tone of the event perfectly. Garner wore a burgundy mini skirt and tights that showed off her toned legs paired with a matching blazer and loafer pumps.

To accessorize, she wore a simple necklace, gold earrings, and oversized black glasses when speaking on a panel with Witherspoon. (Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross, and other celebrities also spoke.) In Garner’s talk, she shared how The Morning Show star was there for her during a “very public, very hard moment in my life,” she recalled, per People. “I think back to being pregnant. This one [Witherspoon] was sitting next to me,” she said. “She was right there and the way I needed to get through it was dance cardio.”

Even in dance class, Witherspoon was unwavering and reliable, Garner said. “I danced cardio-d so hard, we broke her foot, but she kept going!” she recalled. “It was like, okay, we worked out at seven on vacation, we’re going to work out again at two. She was like, ‘I’m going to be there. I’m going to be there.’”

Witherspoon founded Hello Sunshine—a production company that prioritizes telling women-focused stories—in 2016. Garner has since starred in the Hello Sunshine TV series The Last Thing He Told Me. At the panel, she recalled the company’s early days and applauded Witherspoon for bringing it to life.

“Those meetings happened at Reese’s house. And it was the first time I’d ever sat down with that many actresses in the same room that we weren’t passing each other in an award show in big dresses—where we just sat,” Garner recounted. “We’ve been siloed off the one place. The place that doesn’t happen, the place that started the change where that no longer can happen is Hello Sunshine. It’s just true.”

Witherspoon shared a recap of the event on Instagram, thanking her guests for attending. “Getting to watch women connect and empower each other was an absolute dream come true,” she wrote. “When women stand together we can change the world ✨.”
