50 Cent had everyone's best interests in mind when he postponed this evening's concert in Phoenix, Arizona.

The rapper took to Instagram last night to break the news, sharing that the heatwave permeating the state was too dangerous to gather during.

"Due to extreme heat, the show tomorrow in Phoenix, AZ is being postponed," he wrote alongside several snapshots from a previous date of his Final Lap tour, which involves plenty of pyrotechnics that would have likely increased the temperature even further within the amphitheater.

"For anyone who would like a refund, please go to point of purchase for instructions," he continued, before promising, "I’ll be back in Arizona soon!"

He added, "116 degrees is dangerous for everyone 🤷🏽‍♂️." One photo in the carousel also showed a cell phone alert for an excessive heat warning, which wasn't set to expire until after a concert's typical start time.

A new date for the concert has not been announced yet.

Earlier this year, Jason Aldean suffered a heat-related emergency during a concert in Connecticut, ending the show about halfway through after struggling through a few words and then bolting offstage. He later confirmed he'd suffered from a combination of dehydration and heat exhaustion, with fans confirming how miserable the humidity was that night.

"It was hotter than hell. It was bad enough just standing in the pit," one fan by the name of K.C. Schweizer wrote on Twitter. "I can’t imagine performing in jeans, boots, and hat under all those lights in that humidity with no breeze."

"We were sweating just standing still, I can’t imagine how it was for them up there," another attendee confirmed.
