Zendaya is a new and powerful player in the shoe world — her line with Titan Industries debuts for spring ’16.

Now, the singer and actress is getting buzz for her latest launch: the Zendaya Barbie Doll. Mattel created a doll replica of the star based on her red carpet look from this years Oscars ceremony.

“When I was little, I couldn’t find a Barbie that looked like me … my, how times have changed,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Barbie, for this honor and for allowing me to be a part of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty.”

1. Her shoe collection includes too many to count.

“It’s a lot. We’re going to empty some [styles] out to include my own collection.”

2. At 16, Zendaya was the youngest “Dancing With the Stars” contestant.

She was the show’s runner-up, with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

3. She embraces both heels and flats.

“It depends on the day. If you’re going to the airport, I’m not the lady to wear heels. If I’m going to an event, I wouldn’t be caught dead in flats. I love to be tall on red carpets.”

4. Her modeling career began with campaigns for retailers like Old Navy and Macy’s.

She also starred as a backup dancer in a Sears commercial, alongside Selena Gomez.

5. If she were a shoe, it would be a transformer.

“If there were such a thing as transformer shoes, I would be a shoe that turns into another shoe.”
