When it comes to footwear, we’re all about comfort. If you have a long commute or are on your feet all day, there’s nothing better than having a pair of shoes you don’t want to take off because they make your feet feel so good. If you’re anything like me and tend to wear the same pair of shoes during a season, your go-to kicks most likely have worn-out heels or a broken zipper by the time you’re ready to swap them out for the next season. I, for one, have decided to put an end to spending hundreds of dollars on shoes that become worn-out after just one season, when I could be shopping styles that are just as cute for a much better deal.
Enter: Walmart. While you may not initially think of the big-box retailer as the place to help you upgrade your wardrobe, Walmart is actually making major headway in the fashion game by offering more premium brands than ever before, in both clothes and shoes (think Calvin Klein, Lord & Taylor, and Vince Camuto). I’m currently loving the store’s comfortable boots selection that includes tons of great styles for fall. Since I spend a lot of time walking during my commute, I always look for boots that have a block heel, aren’t too high, and are wide enough for my in-between foot size—and to my surprise, Walmart has plenty of options this season that fit the bill for my comfy shoe criteria.
