It's Mother's Day weekend, and there are a few things on the schedule that Mom ought to enjoy, including a massive country music concert, a historical reenactment, a well-known comedian, an art show/classical music hybrid and one of the hottest tours in music.

The young'uns had their shot last week when Luke Combs headlined two concerts at EverBank Stadium. Now it's time for the old pros. George Strait, who has won just about every award country music gives out, is the headliner. Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town, either of which could headline any arena in the country, are the openers. Showtime is 5:45 p.m. Saturday. $155-$565. Info: everbankstadium.com

2,000 Englishmen raided Spanish-held St. Augustine in 1586. Re-enactors will recreate the raid and pretend to sack and burn the town starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Orange Street Redoubt, in front of Ann O’Malley’s. They’ll also set up an era-appropriate settlement at the Oldest House Museum Complex, with drills and weapons demonstrations, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Info: visitstaugustine.com

When brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met needed a name for their band, AJR just seemed to make sense. They're on their first headlining arena tour, which stops by VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The band is donating $1 for every ticket sold to climate change initiatives.
