5 Customer-Favorite Snacks From 7-Eleven You Need to Order ASAP
Yes, the roller hot dog did make the list.
Who doesn’t look forward to the convenience store run at the start of a road trip? Or grabbing your favorite snack after filling up your gas tank? It’s the simple things that make stores like 7-Eleven a customer favorite.
7-Eleven offers a huge selection of snacks, like the classic road trip snack-sized Doritos or bags of Sour Patch Kids, but the store also has its own private label that makes snacks and foods that customers love—maybe even more than the name-brand items.
We asked the Allrecipes community—and scoured Reddit—to see what customers said they can’t leave 7-Eleven without.
Quarter Pound Big Bite
Anyone who has been to 7-Eleven knows that it’s nearly impossible to walk out of the store without one of its infamous hot dogs. Nothing brings a 7-Eleven customer more joy than pulling a hot dog off the roller—except maybe grabbing a taquito off the roller, too (but more on that later).
You could opt for the regular Big Bite, which is ⅛ pound, but Reddit users say they always go for the Quarter Pound Big Bite. And, of course, you can’t forget all the fix-ins!
7 Select Kettle Potato Chips
You always need a crunchy snack to go along with a hot dog! While Salt & Vinegar and Jalapeño kettle-cooked chips are the most popular, 7-Eleven sells multiple other flavors—including Original, BBQ, Smoked Gouda, and Salt & Pepper.
Taquitos
Like the roller hot dog, taquitos are synonymous with 7-Eleven. The crispy, cheesy rolled creations come in a handful of flavors, but the Allrecipes and Reddit communities have a few honorable mentions. Their favorites are the Jalapeño & Cheese Taquito, Monterrey Jack Chicken Taquito, and Buffalo Chicken Roller.
The beauty of the taquito is that you can mix and match, because they’re sold a la carte, so you can to try as many flavors as you want.
7 Select Fiery Hot Potato Chips
7-Eleven sells multiple potato chip flavors—including some unique ones like Prime Rib and Buffalo Chicken Dip—but none are as popular as the Fiery Hot flavor. The chips are coated in a “firecracker flavor,” but 7-Eleven doesn’t disclose what exactly that flavor is. So, we guess if you know, you know. And, if you don't, head to your local 7-Eleven soon!
Slurpee
Last, but certainly not least—because leaving 7-Eleven without one is almost a crime—is the Slurpee. Who doesn’t love a Slurpee?
7-Eleven has the Slurpee down to a science, literally. Every Slurpee is served at 28°F and maintains its fizz while staying perfectly icy and fluffy.
Even the legendary Kristin Chenoweth can’t control her excitement over a humble 7-Eleven Slurpee.
“I just want to say something: 7-Eleven, you continue to raise the bar,” Chenoweth said in a recent TikTok. And, 7-Eleven, we agree. Keep being you!
