The 5 Best New Trader Joe's Products I Tried in May 2023

We finally got to try the one people can't stop raving about!

With every changing season comes new and exciting products at Trader Joe's, and summer is definitely no exception. Although spring isn't quite over yet, we can't seem to get these seasonal snacks out of our heads: beach-themed gummies, chocolaty s'more clusters, and burrata-stuffed pasta, to name a few. Read on to see the five best new products I tried from Trader Joe's this month, and get ready to pack your grocery bags full.

1. Trader Joe's Sfogliatella Pastry

There's been a lot of buzz around these ultra-flaky shell-like pastries, and with good reason. If you're familiar with Sfogliatella, you might already know they're a very traditional Italian pastry filled with custard-like ricotta and candied orange cream. If this is your kind of dessert (you'd be crazy to say it's not), don't wait too long. They're bound to disappear from shelves quickly.

2. Trader Joe's Mini (Almost) Everything Bagel Sandwich Crackers

With the obsession for everything seasoning over the last few years, it seems about time that Trader Joe's releases a snack like these. The crackers themselves are meant to taste just like an everything bagel, and between the flavor, the thin layer of cream cheese sandwiched in the middle, and their uncanny resemblance to a mini bagel, they are everything you could want in a snack and more.

3. Trader Joe's S'mores Clusters

These little S'mores Clusters are perfect for when you're craving a s'more but are nowhere near a campfire. Graham crackers and mini marshmallows are mixed together rather than stacked (like traditional s'mores), then dipped in a generous coating of milk chocolate. Eat them as they are or warm them in the microwave for a few seconds for that classic melty experience.

4. Trader Joe's Beach Day Gummy Candy

Just like the Spring Gummies, these Beach Day gummies are fruit-flavored gummy candies that come in an array of fun seasonal-themed shapes. There are palm trees, starfish, conch shells, crabs, and sunglasses.

Additionally, instead of each shape being a different color and flavor (like the Spring Gummies or Scandinavian Swimmers), they all have similar tie-dye patterns with similar flavors. And what's especially great about them is that they're naturally colored with fruit juice, veggie juice, and spirulina.

5. Italian Tomato & Burrata Ravioloni

Nothing screams Italian summer quite like tomato and burrata—and pasta, for that matter. These cheesy raviolini (a larger version of ravioli) are double stuffed with burrata, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, and are the perfect meal for a warm summer night. You'll also notice that each side has a different color: one side is red, flavored with tomato powder, and the other side is green, flavored with spinach. Serve them with tomato sauce or a generous serving of pesto.
