What do two actresses, one recording artist, a reality star, and a YouTube celebrity have in common? Four out of five love a good, nude lip.

These days, beauty guru Bethany Mota, Orange is the new Black actress Laverne Cox, singer Zendaya Coleman, and The Hills alum Kristin Cavallari are rocking the bare-looking kissers. The odd woman out? I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden. She’s is a fan of a peachy, more orange, pout.

Aside from their mutual love of lipstick, the women walked the runway alongside other stars at New York Fashion Week for The American Heart Associations’ Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection show at Lincoln Center in New York City Thursday night. As they were having their makeup applied and hair styled backstage, we just had to ask them our burning beauty questions.

Yahoo Beauty: What’s your current go to lip color?

Bethany Mota: These days, it’s a more neutral one. I just recently just got this lip liner from Smashbox that has a peachy undertone. I line my lips with that and then I use an Urban Decay lipstick. It’s a very similar shade. It goes with everything. The lip liner gives you the illusion of fuller lips.

Laverne Cox: I love a nude lip, but when I do a nude lip—because I have such big lips—I have to have dimension with it. I usually do something darker on the top, and then something that is almost my concealer color on the bottom. That’s generally my go-to in the shade of brown, with dimensionality.

Zendaya Coleman: Basically the tone of the same color of my lips—finding that perfect shade that matches your lips. It’s not too nude but not too pinky but not too brown. You can have a nice full lip and it looks like something’s on your lips, but it doesn’t look like too much. I don’t have a favorite brand—a lot of drugstore makeup lip brands are really nice. I like to try a lot of different colors.

Kristin Cavallari: I always tend to stay with more of the nude family. I just bought a Givenchy one. It’s a really beautiful nude that can be worn every day.

Barbara Eden: I mix a bunch. It’s a peach color. Once in a while I put the Armani orange on, but I mix it in with something else.

Yahoo Beauty: Name three products you always keep with you.

Bethany Mota: Any tinted moisturizer, especially in the summer, because it’s so light, acts as a foundation, and protects your skin from the sun. Also, an eyelash curler. Even if I don’t use mascara one day, I always curl my lashes. It makes such a difference. And white eyeliner, because I don’t get a lot of sleep most nights and it brightens [my eyes] and makes them look whiter.

Laverne Cox: Baby shampoo. I’ve washed my face with baby shampoo for many years—it’s been a decade now. Got that trick from an old queen I used to work with. Pressed powder—I love L’Oreal True Match. And mascara. Some MAC blush, too!

Zendaya Coleman: ChapStick, or some sort of lip balm. My lips get chapped really easily. And I always keep moisturizer of some kind [with me], whether it’s those little baby pocket ones or whenever I’m traveling, I bring a big ‘ol thing of moisturizer. As soon as I get out of the shower, I have to moisturize.

Kristin Cavallari: Mascara. I wear the Eyes to Kill by Armani. I fill in my brows with a Chanel pencil, and then I’ve been wearing tinted moisturizer by Revision during the day.

Barbara Eden: I use the La Prairie Caviar liquid, and on top of that, I put the firmer, and I use their eye cream. I’ve used it for years. My mother used it before me. It’s served its purpose for me—served me well.

Yahoo Beauty: What makes you feel sexy?

Bethany Mota: I think it depends. Some people think it has to be a sexy outfit, but sometimes I feel sexy when I’m wearing an oversized T-Shirt and have my hair in a topknot. I think it’s when I feel comfortable and I love what I’m wearing—no matter what it is.

Laverne Cox: The right man [laughs]. The right pair of shoes. The right dress. Sometimes I just turn it on. Sometimes listening to Beyonce. Whenever I do a photoshoot, we always put Beyonce on—the “Partition” song or any Beyonce song from her last album makes me feel really sexy. The new Nicki Minaj/Beyonce jam “Feeling Myself” makes me feel sexy.

Zendaya Coleman: When I just feel comfortable in my own skin. That could be on the red carpet, that could be at home, that could be whenever I feel fabulous. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m dressed up or dressed to the nines and ready for Fashion Week all the time.

Kristin Cavallari: A good workout. I’ve been weight training with a trainer, three days a week, trying to put some muscle on.

Barbara Eden: My husband. He’s just so loving and kind and supportive.

Yahoo Beauty: What is your biggest beauty regret, ever?

Bethany Mota: When I was experimenting with makeup, and I thought it would be a good idea to put a lot of blush on. I ended up leaving the house looking like a clown because I didn’t blend it out. It was just circles on my cheeks.

Laverne Cox: I don’t believe in regrets. I don’t have any, because they were all learning experiences. But back in the day, I was really into black lipstick but it was phat at the moment. I don’t even regret that. I used to do loose braids, a la Beyonce “Bug A Boo” video. I did really white and really black—like, l had jet black and white hair—it was terrible. It was synthetic fiber that was just not cute. I don’t know what was going on with me.

Zendaya Coleman: I don’t think I have one. Let’s hope that never happens!

Kristin Cavallari: Does high school count? Winter formal, I wore these humongous fake eyelashes that were just so overpowering and looked hideous on me. Every time I see those pictures I cringe.

Barbara Eden: I think I’ve always wanted to be a brunette. I had more fun on I Dream of Jeannie playing my wicked sister because she wore the dark wig. I had so much fun!

Beauty Bonus Question!

Yahoo Beauty: What’s your secret to staying beautiful in your 80s?

Barbara Eden: I think it’s being happy and healthy. We’re lucky if we’re healthy. I stay healthy by working with a trainer. I spin. I do workout, and I’ve never smoked!
