Denver is among the most expensive rental markets in the U.S., with an average monthly rent payment of $1,984 as of February, according to Zillow. But some listings on the market are far above average, with monthly rent costing over five times the average.
Here are five apartment and condo listings on Zillow that cost more than $10,000 in rent per month.
The building is in the Denver Tech Center, and the unit features a large terrace with views overlooking the city, Cherry Creek State Park, and a clear view of the mountains.

The Coloradan penthouse
$15,000/month: 2 bed, 2.5 bath, 2,795 square feet
The most expensive rental apartment listed on Zillow right now is a penthouse at The Coloradan with a price tag of $15,000 per month, a deal compared to the $19,500 it was listed for in November 2023.
The apartment building is located at 1750 Wewatta St. in downtown Denver. Throughout the apartment are floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of both the city skyline to the east and the mountains to the west.
The floorplan includes two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a spacious terrace, a large kitchen, and a den with a double-sided fireplace shared with a spacious living room. The entire place is furnished and includes other notable features like heated floors in the bathrooms, a bird’s-eye view of Union Station and two walk-in closets for the master suite.
Prospect on Central penthouse

A penthouse at the Prospect on Central, located at 2500 17th St., has an extra-large floor plan with closets and bathrooms larger than many average bedrooms.

While many of these luxury apartments are out of reach for the average Denverite, they can certainly be entertaining to look at.
