5 apartments in Denver that cost over $10K per month

DENVER (KDVR) — Renting in Denver is not cheap, but the average rent is pocket change compared to some of the more luxurious options.

A recent market report from Zillow found that renters in Denver need to make $81,000 a year to afford rent in the Mile High City. Another recent study by SmartAsset said a single adult must make $106,579 to live “comfortably” in Denver.

Meanwhile, the median income in Denver is $85,853. None of those incomes will cut it for the luxury apartments in Denver though.

Denver is among the most expensive rental markets in the U.S., with an average monthly rent payment of $1,984 as of February, according to Zillow. But some listings on the market are far above average, with monthly rent costing over five times the average.

Here are five apartment and condo listings on Zillow that cost more than $10,000 in rent per month.

Belleview Station penthouse

$12,175/month: 2 bed, 2.5 bath, 1,985 square feet

The penthouse on the 17th floor of One Seven at Belleview Station, located at 4882 S. Newport St., has a deposit cost of just $500, a fraction of the monthly rent of over $12,000.

The building is in the Denver Tech Center, and the unit features a large terrace with views overlooking the city, Cherry Creek State Park, and a clear view of the mountains.

Other amenities in the building include a theatre, bicycle storage, package services, Bluetooth-enabled entry door locks, a pool and hot tub, a gym, a game room and more.

Beauvallon penthouse

$12,000/month: 4 bed, 2.5 bath, 4,228 square feet

The Zillow listing refers to the penthouse in the Beauvallon building at 925 N. Lincoln St. as “the ultimate penthouse.”

It is currently undergoing construction and is in the process of a complete remodel, which is expected to be finished in April or May.

This view of Denver costs more than $6 million

The new renter will be able to take a private elevator directly into the unit. The unit also features both mountain and city views, with bedrooms in every corner, three balconies, and even a butler’s pantry.

The Coloradan penthouse

$15,000/month: 2 bed, 2.5 bath, 2,795 square feet

The most expensive rental apartment listed on Zillow right now is a penthouse at The Coloradan with a price tag of $15,000 per month, a deal compared to the $19,500 it was listed for in November 2023.

When seasonal mountain road closures will be lifted in Colorado

The living room alone takes up more than 1,218 square feet, according to the floor plan.

The primary bedroom features a massive walk-in closet and laundry room, as well as a double-door, walk-through bathroom and second walk-in closet.

Additionally, one of the patios spans 58 feet wide and features a grill, firepit and hot tub.

While many of these luxury apartments are out of reach for the average Denverite, they can certainly be entertaining to look at.
