New York CIty's hottest restaurant now boasts an extra personal touch for vino lovers.

Sartiano's, which opened this past summer in the Mercer Hotel in Manhattan's Soho neighborhood, is giving guests the option to have their very own personal and curated wine locker when they dine at the restaurant — that's become a favorite on foodie TikTok.

Led by the restaurant's wine director, Cameron Nadler, the wine locker program offers customers the ability to build and enjoy their wine collection while having a delicious night on the town. Patrons with a wine locker will have direct contact with Nadler to help them build a most refined collection while receiving reduced pricing on select bottles and access to rare and sought-after wines and vintages, such as the 2005 Masseto Toscana, 2009 Antinori "Solaia" Toscana, Quintessa 2012, DRC Corton-Charlemagne 2020, and Gaja Darmagi 1995.

“Our wine locker program stands as a distinctive offering within the realm of wine experiences, as it allows for wine lovers to enjoy wine from our collection and their personal cellar, as well as countless Châteaus and wineries not currently on the Sartiano’s wine list," Nadler told Travel + Leisure. "Whether it be a specific vintage, producer, or region they truly love, each member of the program enjoys the privilege of having their preferred wines meticulously sourced, stored, and served for them.”

The cost? It's $5,000 per year, inclusive of a $2,500 credit to spend towards wine selections. Other perks with the wine locker program include a waived or reduced corkage fee as well as VIP reservation access to the restaurant and the hotel’s recently re-opened lounge, SubMercer.

All lockers are stored at cellar temp (57-60 degrees) and bottles can be specially chilled upon request ahead of arrival for lunch/dinner reservations.

Sartiano’s has quickly become a major draw with its prime location beneath the iconic Mercer Hotel — diners have included Paul McCartney, Martha Stewart, and Margot Robbie — and a dream team behind it including lifestyle architect Scott Sartiano, 3-time James Beard Award-Winning Chef Alfred Portale as Culinary Director and Augustine’s Chris Lewnes as Executive Chef.

Standouts on the menu include the meatballs, Calvisius Ossetra cannoli with whipped mascarpone and chive, and the umami martini, which comes with black truffle caviar.

To inquire further about purchasing a locker, guests can reach out to the restaurant.
