48 Not-to-Miss Beauty Looks From the Milan Fashion Week Runways

It may be called fashion week, but a runway show would be woefully incomplete without its carefully crafted accompanying beauty look. Hair and makeup can be the finishing touch that makes a collection memorable. This was certainly the case at Milan Fashion Week Fall 2023, where designers leaned on their glam teams to deliver some artful and inventive beauty-driven moments on the runway.

Multiple runway shows turned to exaggerated lashes to make a beauty statement: At Prada, makeup artist Pat McGrath adorned models' lids with faux feathered lashes in pastel colors. For Vivetta's makeup look, artists relied on liner for a drawn-on false lash effect, concentrating the adornment on the outer corners of the lower lash line.

Punk-y hairstyles — which we also spotted all over Milan street style — reigned supreme on the Italian Fashion capital's runways, with both Act N°1 and Moschino giving models dramatically spiky looks.
