So try this on for size: 16,000-square-feet, a prime location, and a price tag of $450,000 per week—the highest ask on any villa on the island during the season. We’re talking about Villa Wakeup, St. Barts’s most expensive rental.
“For those who prize their privacy and seek the rarest of experiences, there’s nowhere else to spend the festive season,” Erin Boisson Aries, a global luxury real estate advisor with Douglas Elliman tells Robb Report. “The design, the service, the cuisine, the atmosphere—it’s sheer perfection.”

Located on the island’s northwest tip and fronting the magnificent Flamands Beach, this modish piece of modernism was designed by the island’s own Architectonik firm. (It’s best known for dreaming up the reborn Eden Rock with designer Martin Brudnizki.)
With clean lines and warming woods, sparkling glass surfaces, and the wild palm-fringed hillside scenery, it makes a pretty picture on the seafront. It’s centered around a dramatic infinity pool that appears to drop into the Caribbean Sea, with reach-out-and-touch-it views of île Chevreau, plus vast internal terracing that functions as a glamorous outdoor living room.
The property also boasts direct access to Anse de Flamands—one of the island’s largest and most picturesque beaches—along with a beachfront Jacuzzi and private sunbed area. It’s one of the island’s only plages that’s flanked with palm trees, offering shade and privacy in equal measure.
A butler, villa manager, and villa chef are on hand to assist with all your vacation requests, from setting up beachfront dinners to securing reservations at the island’s hottest tables. There’s also a comprehensive security system as well as a 10-day power and utility pickup in the event of storms.
That could all make up for quite the Christmas present for a partner, but the villa is set up for families. There are six en suite bedrooms, a whopping 11 bathrooms, professional kitchen facilities for whipping up a family-sized feast, and an indoor and outdoor home cinema for movie night.
