These days everywhere I look, I see sherpa something—jackets, handbags, shoes, sweaters, blankets. The snuggly material is surely a sign of the times. Now more than ever, women and men alike want to feel the coziness of stay-at-home style (read anything soft or with elastic) but actually wear it out in the world—and look elevated and pulled-together doing it.
The answer to this style quandary for fashion and function: G.I.L.I. Jill Martin’s Oversized Sherpa Lounger. It’s comfy, chic, and did I mention that it’s under $50? Well, it’s worth repeating. Jill created it with one of the leading blanket manufacturers in the world, Berkshire Blankets, taking the coziest of cozy fabrics and transforming it into a piece that can be for day or night. It is basically a wearable blanket with sleeves, pockets, a hood, and thumbholes but—big but—it’s as stylish as it is snuggly. Honestly, you’ll live in it. It’s that good.
