As brilliant as the locations and the garments are, the shoes we see at Paris Fashion Week are some of the most breathtaking. That was certainly true at the Fall 2023 shows, where we saw designers change the shape of stilettos, blow up the size of adornments and add unexpected textures to heels, flats and boots.
Loewe delivered on the wonderfully funky and funkily wonderful shoes, as usual. Roger Vivier embellished black boots with medieval-looking beading. Cecilie Bahnsen made Asics sneakers to match its dreamy dresses. Givenchy, Stella McCartney and more continued the furry heels trend, which we've spotted on the runway across all four fashion month stops.
